TV adverts - final feedback

Dale, some very good work produced here and within your group, you have created an effective re-branding adverting concept and a well-produced TV advert.

In regards to unit 2: Communication Skills for Creative Media Production (pitch and presentation):
You were able to use appropriate techniques to extract comprehensive information from written sources and present a well-structured and substantial media production report which conveys information and precise exemplification and justifies conclusions with supporting arguments.
Your pitch was interesting and I thought that you conveyed the information about your re-branding idea and employed forms of address in your pitch to communicate ideas effectively. The pitch was visually good and you deployed and managed technology to pitch a media production proposal with creativity and flair and to near professional standards.

In regards to unit 30: Advertisement Production for Television:
Within your TV advert analysis, you were able to comprehensively explain structures and techniques of TV advertisements with elucidated examples and consistently using subject terminology correctly.
Working within your group, you were able originate and develop an idea for a TV advertisement showing creativity and flair whilst working independently. You produced a TV advertisement to a technical quality that reflects near professional standards, showing creativity and flair and working independently to professional expectations.
Your evaluation was also detailed and clearly demonstrated that you are able to critically evaluate own TV advertisement production work in the context of professional practice, with elucidated examples and consistently using subject terminology correctly.

We considered and discussed other potential props and costumes that we could include within the advert. The largest prop that we intended to use was a larger helium balloon, but due to the cost of the balloon we opted for a smaller scaled balloon. In regards to the costumes, there were no issues when selecting the different outfits, as the elderly actors wore what they were wearing on the day. With the teenagers costumes we selected clothing that we owned, that looked more retro. No other costumes or props were selected, other than the ones above.
